Role play
To make sure you all know how to book a trip and to gather information about your destination, we are going to let you prepare a role play in your groups.
You will have to make a role play with your group members about a conversation in the travel agency. Two pupils will play customers and the other pupil will be the travel agent. The customers want some more information about their holiday destination and the travel agent will give them this information.
The criteria for this assignment are:
1. The conversation lasts for at least 5 minutes.
2. You use at least 5 new words from the vocabulary list.
3. You can be as creative as you want: you can play yourself but you can also pretend to be someone else.
You can use the information in the texts you have read earlier but you can also go to other websites. You will find links to other websites under each text. Use these websites as well.
When you prepare your role play, you can have a look at the role play you did earlier. Here are some sentences that might help you:

You will do your conversation in front of your class. You can’t take your text with you but you can write the most important words (key words) on a sheet of paper and take it with you.
